Cosmic Ocean

Our ancestors called water, the ‘Cosmic Ocean’.  Galaxies are birthed through Quasars. A quasar is a massive water cloud located 12-billion light years away, surrounding a black hole. This blue print of creation is within us and all beings. Water connects us to everything. We are both creation and creators. 

The ancients used spirals to symbolise water.  In Episode Two of Soul Pod Harmony’s Sacred Journeys, Kelly and I explore The Priory Church of St Mary the Virgin in Deerhurst, near Tewkesbury, and we came across one of the oldest Saxon fonts covered in spirals. Kelly dowsed the font with her L’Rods.

Spirals can be found in many sacred sites and have a feminine feel with the rounded journey inwards or outwards opposed to ‘lines’ which could be considered masculine with their direct momentum. The spiral as an informational field can be felt by sensitives as deeply nurturing. 

Interestingly, the spiral is a long used symbol for water and Second Generation Master Dowser and Archaeologist, Maria Wheatley talks about them in relation to Earth Energies. She states “A geospiral is the spiral-shaped surface energy pattern of a deep underground (primary) water source that is chemically produced within the Earth and is independent of rainfall such as a blind spring, or aquifer, which I call ‘yin water’.”

Water as an archetypal element is purifying, nurturing and refreshes and renews energies. It is also linked to emotions, sensitivity and intuition and so you can appreciate why baptism involves water. Interestingly, water has been used for scrying similar to how a crystal ball is used.

As we are mostly water (70% at least) it is worth considering our relationship with this mysterious substance that can be fluid, solid (ice) and gas (mist and clouds). The works of Veda Austin and Dr Masaru Emoto compound our belief that water is consciousness - water is Source not just a resource. 

And when Kelly and I visited the Seven Wells and Seven Springs (Episode Three, Sacred Journeys), the Divine Feminine energy welcomed & nurtured us – Kelly channelled the Spirit of the Place, a beautiful Mothering energy – and she reminded us to be more aware of how we contaminate our own water within us with negative thoughts and beliefs, and also how we are contaminating the oceans with conflict and pollution. By expressing gratitude & LOVE to the waters within us and our springs, rivers and seas, we can improve our own health & help Mother Earth and connect to the Universe.
